Pharaoh’s Body
“And We brought the children of Israel across the sea; and Pharaoh and his hosts pursued them wrongfully and aggressively, till, when the calamity of drowning overtook him, he said, ‘I believe that there is no God but He in Whom the children of Israel believe, and I am of those who submit to Him.’
(Ch.10 v.91)
“What! Now! while thou wast disobedient before this and wast of those who create disorder.” (Ch.10 v.92)
“So this day We will save thee in thy body alone that thou mayest be a Sign to those who come after thee. And surely, many of mankind are heedless of Our Signs.” (Ch.10 v.93)
The Holy Qur’an clearly states that Allah will save the body of the Pharaoh and “preserve” it as a sign for future generations. This claim of the Holy Qur’an is not found in the Bible or Torah. At the time of the revelation of the Holy Qur’an, the Egyptian art of mummifying was unknown to the world. The Pharaoh’s body was found in the 19th century and is displayed in a museum in Egypt. “…A Sign to those who come after thee…”
Relativity
“Allah it is Who created the heavens and the earth, and that which is between them, in six periods; then He settled on the Throne. You have no helper or intercessor beside Him. Will you not then reflect?”(Ch.32 v.5)
“He will plan the Divine Ordinance from the heaven unto the earth, then shall it go up to Him in a day the duration of which is a thousand years according to what you reckon.” (Ch.32 v.6)
“The angels and the Spirit ascend to Him in a day the measure of which is fifty thousand years.” (Ch.70 v.5)
The Holy Qur’an not only talks about the creation of the universe in six periods or days, but it also sheds light on a fact that was only discovered thousands of years later. Time was always considered to be a constant equally applicable across the universe and forever. The Holy Qur’an says that the interpretation of time or a “day” can be different in different points of references. In these verses the Holy Qur’an states that a “day” as mentioned by Allah can be equal to a thousand or fifty thousand “days” as the humans know it.
Creation of Israel
“And after him We said to the children of Israel, ‘Dwell ye in the land; and when the time of the promise of the latter days comes, We shall bring you together out of various peoples.” Ch.17 v.105)
The creation of the State of Israel in 1948 and the gathering of Jews from various parts of the world is well depicted in the Holy Qur’an
Contact with E.T
“And among His Signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth, and of whatever living creatures He has spread forth in both. And He has the power to gather them together when He pleases.” (Ch.42 v.30)
The Holy Qur’an not only categorically acknowledges the existing of Extraterrestrial Life but also prophesizes about our contact with it. The time of such a contact is not shared with us and is left to Allah’s will “…when He pleases”.
Genetic Engineering
“…they will alter Allah’s creation…”(Ch.4 v.120)
Genetic engineering, cloning and similar scientific endeavours have been prophesied in the Holy Qur’an.
Air Traffic
“And by the heaven full of tracks,” (Ch.51 v.8)
Thousands of aircraft are in the air at any given time. Collision avoidance systems and ground and air controls are used to make sure the aircraft do not collide and arrive at the destination by following their designated paths in the sky; making our sky literally a “heaven full of tracks”.
Biometrics
“…their ears and their eyes and their skins will bear witness against them as to what they had been doing. ” (Ch.41 v.21)
The Holy Qur’an hints at the advent of finger prints and retinal scans for investigative purposes.
Pollution
“Corruption has appeared on land and sea because of what men’s hands have wrought, that He may make them taste the fruit of some of their doings, so that they may turn back from evil.”(Ch.30 v.42)
One of the interpretations of this verse is the spread of environmental pollution over land and sea which is caused by the actions of man himself. The verse also talks about the negative impact of pollution and to the fact that man will eventually have to turn back from this state of affairs.
